Rohan Mehra is an Indian actor and model. He was born on 8 April 1989 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He is best known for playing the lead role of Sameer Dhanraj Kapoor in Colors TV Second Longest Running Show Sasural Simar Ka.

Early Life & Family:

Rohan was born on 8 April 1989 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. His father is a businessman named Ravinder Mehra and his mother named Rashmi Mehra. His brother is Siddharth Mehra and his sister Ritika Mehra. He has finished his initial schooling from St George’s School Mussoorie and did his graduation from Hans Raj School, Delhi.

Career:

Rohan Mehra mainly works in Hindi TV Serials. He made his on-screen debut with Channel V India serial Gumrah: End of Innocence (2012) as Aarav. After he selected for the Varun Ashwin Khanna’s TV show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on Sony TV.

He has featured in advertisements of Reebok, Hero Cycles, Honda, Priyagold Biscuits, Samsung and BlackBerry, etc. In 2013, He debuted in Bollywood with the film Sixteen. He also was the main lead in the film Uvaa. After that, he played the role of Naksh Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and became the household name. Rohan participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 10 (2016-17) but he was eliminated on Day 101, becoming the Finalist of the show. He now working on Colors TV Serial Sasural Simar Ka from 2017 to present.

Personal Life:

Rohan is unmarried and he met Yukti Kapoor on the sets of his movie Uvaa and both fell in love. For some personal reasons, both parted their ways in 2016. In the same year, he met his co-actor, Kanchi Singh and started dating.
