Later his mother took him to Hollywood where he landed an agent and snagged a recurring role as Prince James in the animated series, Sofia the First (2013). Afterward, Nicolas never looks back and appeared in numerous commercials, including multiple spots for Old Navy (with Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and roles in TV such as Disney XD’s, Walk the Prank, and feature films including, Vikes and The Impossible Joy.
Not only that, he later appeared as the third voice actor in the voice-over world giving voice to the beloved character of Gumball in Cartoon Network’s The Amazing World of Gumball (2011). In season 5, he was replaced by Jacob Hopkins. He did not return to voice Gumball in The Gumball Chronicles, with Duke Cutler taking up the role.
In 2017, he also landed recurring roles in Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie. He also voiced B.O.Y.D. in the DuckTales episode Happy Birthday, Doofus Drake!.
