Mikaal Zulfiqar

Mian Muhammad Mikaal Patras Aziz Zulfiqar, better known by his stage name Mikaal Zulfiqar. He is a Pakistani actor and former model. He stepped into the industry by appearing in Abrar ul Haq’s music video for the song ‘Sanu Tere Naal Pyaar Ho Gaya’ in the year 2002.

Early Life & Family:

Mikaal was born on 5th September 1981 in London with name Mian Muhammad Mikaal Patras Aziz Zulfiqar. His father is a retired Pakistani diplomat and his mother is British. His parents separated when Zulfiqar was 17 years old. He has two older sisters, one of whom lives in Australia and a younger brother, Jamal Andreas Zulfiqar, who is a prominent theatre actor in London.

Education:

Mikaal spent a chunk of his life in London. He has studied at Lahore Lyceum after moving back to Pakistan.

Career:

He started his career as a model and the first time appeared in the video of the song “Sanu Tere Naal Pyar Hogaya” by Abrar-ul-Haq. After several advertising campaigns, Zulfiqar appeared in Sanu Tere Naal Pyar Ho Gya, a song from Bay Ja Cycle Tay music album by Abrar-ul-Haq. The stylish actor Mikaal made his debut in the Pakistan cinema industry with the movie ‘Godfather’ directed by Hriday Shetty in 2007. After this movie, he presented a few more popular movies like ‘Abhi Tau Main Jawan Hun’ and ‘Team’ in those his performance has been appreciated by all classes of people and the media industry.

He also made his Bollywood debut with the Indian film “Shoot On Sight”. And also worked in many other hit Indian movies including Baby, and U R My Jaan and he made his small screen debut with the Tv serial “Saiqa” on Hum Tv. After that, he worked in many hit Tv serials on different Tv channels such as Mikaal are Alif Allah, Sang-e-Mar Mar and Diyar-e-Dil on Hum TV, Mere Armaan and Ek Kasak Reh Gayi on Geo TV, Mann Pyasa and Mein Sitara on TV One, Intezar on A Plus Entertainment, Bedar-o-Dewar on ARY Digital and many more. He won Hum Awards for Best Actor.

In March 2018, he made a special appearance in film Cake, co-starring Aamina Sheikh, Adnan Malik, and Sanam Saeed. The film was highly lauded by critics. His next film Na Band Na Baraati will be released on 29 June 2018.

Personal life:

He got married to Sara Bhatti in 2010 and happily living with two cute daughters. But his married life ended with divorced after the 6 years.
